Ok I just wanted to post some thoughts regarding the current guild progression and the upcoming changes to raid nights for ICC 10 groups.
Raiding in 25's
First off I want to give everyone a pat on the back for doing a great job on Lich King 25. We are very close to completing the fight and I hope to get into hard modes soon. However I do not want to push too hard and endlessly lockout LK till we down him. This week if we are close to a kill then we will extend the lockout. If we are still far from it we will reset and do a farm run Tuesday and lockout LK the next week. Once we down LK and start hard modes however, we will not be allowing alts into 25's.
Raiding in 10's
This is where things get weird. Due to player's schedules we will be shuffling the nights around for ICC10's. Temporarily this may mean that you do not have an ICC10 raid slot. This is temporary and will be ironed out within a week. FOR NOW I have set up an open run this friday. anyone who is not already scheduled in an ICC10 run feel free to sign up and run. This raid currently has no RL as I will not be able to attend. I just wanted to give players an option until we iron out groups A-D final schedules.
Goals For Cataclysm
The whole point of establishing ICC10 groups is that we are going to be very 10-player focussed come Cata and I wanted to make sure that going into the new expansion that we had 4 core groups and a healthy pool of standbys GTG. Things don't always go as planned and I am sure raid nights, raid members and personal schedules will inevitably change. The focus of the guild will not. We want fun, competent, goal-oriented players to start now to form our raiding groups and adapt to the changes as we go.
I just wanted everyone to know that much like the Cylon's, "there is a plan". Right now however, it's just a little out of whack.
Stay tuned
